LG ha teased a new stylus phablet at the end of a promotional video advert showcasing the recently announced G3 Beat smartphone.
From the video it can be clearly figured out that the new yet to be named G3 variant will be accompanied by a stylus that slots in on the device’s top left side.
The LG G3 Stylus is rumoured to feature a 5.9-inch screen, a slightly bigger screen than the Galaxy Note 4’s expected 5.7-inch screen. The handset is likely to boast the latest and best hardware available, including a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor as well as a QHD resolution display same as its flagship sibling.
Although LG hasn’t yet revealed any further details related to the anticipated phablet, a large display and dedicated stylus hints that the South Korean smartphone maker is planning to take on Samsung’s popular Galaxy Note line and other large-screen Android smartphones.
The leak comes in time when Samsung is expected to launch its next Note phablet flagship dubbed Galaxy Note 4 next month at the IFA conference in Berlin. The smartphone giant has reportedly began sending out invites for the pre-IFA 2014 launch event in which the company is rumoured to take the wraps of the Galaxy Note 4.
The Galaxy Note 4 is expected to boast a 2,560 x 1,440 resolution screen, an included stylus, IP67 certification, dual 16-megapixel and 3-megapixel cameras, up to 128GB of microSD card storage and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chip along with the company’s own octa-core Exynos 5 chip in some regions. It is also rumoured that the next Note phablet flagship might run Android 5.0 L.
