Lenovo has introduced a new member to its Yoga range of devices – a 13-inch Yoga Tablet 2 featuring QHD display, Windows 8.1 and a quad-core processor among other things.
The Windows 8.1 powered tablet joins the previously launched 13.3-inch Yoga Tablet 2 Pro (Android), the 8-inch and 10-inch Yoga Tablet 2 (Android and Windows), and the 10-inch Yoga Tablet (Android).
The latest tablet adds a higher resolution 2560×1440 pixel display with more storage capacity up to 64GB. It can also pair with a detachable Bluetooth keyboard cover and comes with a 1-month trial of Microsoft Office 365.
The 13.3-inch Yoga Tablet 2 running Windows 8.1 features a kickstand that rotates up to 180 degrees and offers four different modes namely hold, stand, tilt, and hang.
As far as the specifications go, the tablet flaunts a 13.3-inch QHD display (2560×1440 pixels) and is powered by 1.86GHz Intel Atom Processor Z3745 coupled with 4GB of RAM.
On the camera front the tablet has a 1.6-megapixel front camera (no rear camera) and features large-chamber JBL stereo speakers with subwoofer. It also includes Wi-Fi (a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-HDMI, and Micro-USB like connectivity options and packs a massive 12,800mAh battery, which the company claims lasts up to 15 hours of usage.
Unfortunately, this Yoga tablet does not include a pico projector and will be available in the US first starting in November for $699 (approx. Rs 43000) with no word on the availability or pricing for other regions.
