Blizzard Entertainment has released the cinematic trailer of StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void and along with tagged a release date of November 10 for the game.
The Legacy of the Void is the third and final chapter in the StarCraft II saga. Earlier two expansions were Wings of Liberty which was released in summer 2010 and Heart of the Swarm which was released in spring 2013. Spanning five years, StarCraft II received both applaud as well as criticism.
The game will see its epic conclusion with Legacy of the Void wherein Hierarch Artanis led by Protoss Golden Armada will be trying to reclaim their home world of Aiur and in the process face the dreaded Hybrid.
The trailer was officially released at an event in downtown Los Angeles and Bizzard took the opportunity to announce the release date as well. Blizzard has already opened the preorders for the game and those who preorder it will be treated with immediate access to Legacy of the Void’s three-mission prologue, Whispers of Oblivion.
The interesting bit about the launch date is that the company has decided to release the game on November 10 – the same day when Fallout 4 is releasing. If we do recall, XCOM 2 abandoned its November 10 date just a few weeks ago and though we are not saying that it could be because of Fallout 4, we believe Blizzard’s choice is rather intriguing.
