KDB Daewoo Securities has sent out a research note to its clients listing, what it believes, will be the specifications of the next-gen iPhone 6 and some specifications indicate that the to be release iPhone will be the most advanced, powerful handset ever from Apple.
The research report [PDF], pegs iPhone 6 as a 4.7-inch smartphone, possibly 4.8-inch one with 1,920 x 1,080 pixel resolution, 2GB RAM, four storage options [16GB, 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB], A8 processor, 8-megapixel rear camera and a 3.2-megapixel front snapper and at least 1,800mAh battery.
KDB also claims that there will be a larger version of the iPhone 6 with a 5.5-inch display with a 2K [2,272 x 1,280 pixels] resolution. The larger iPhone will carry the same specs as its small-screened sibling.
Cupertino is expected to unveil the two iPhone either in the second or the third quarter of the current year and we assume that the timeframe could be the same as last year.
All the details provided by KDB aren’t clear though with some rather sketchy details making their way into the report. One questionable claim is that the iPhone 6 will be running iOS 7.2 and not iOS 8. Apple has made it a point to load its new iPhone with a new iOS version every year and so it is expected that iPhone 6 would run iOS 8 at launch and not some sub-version of iOS 7.
