Kazam, a UK smartphone startup, has launched a new lineup of dual-SIM Android smartphones with different outlay for entry level customers to those requiring high-end smartphones.
Available in Thunder and Trooper ranges, the smartphones come in different screen sizes and specifications. The Trooper range has four models – X3.5, X4.0, X4.5, X5.0 and X5.5 – named after smartphone’s screen size.
The Trooper X3.5 has a 3.5-inch screen and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage expandable to 32GB through the microSD card slot, 3.2-megapixel rear snapper, and 1300mAh battery. The Trooper X5.5 on the other hand has a 5.5-inch screen, 1.2GHZ dual-core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB storage, microSD card slot, 5.0-megapixel rear camera, and a 2500mAh removable battery.
Kazam has launched just one model in its Thunder range – the Q4.5 – and it packs a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB of internal storage expandable up to 32GB, 8-megapixel rear shooter, 4.5-inch display and a 1800mAh removable battery.
Kazam smartphones will run Android Jelly Bean and come preloaded with Kazam Rescue enabling company’s support specialists to take over the device remotely and carry out repairs if any issue persists.
The company is also planning to release its second Thunder smartphone – Q5 – sometime soon.
