With the announcement that the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+ will be available for purchase from September 19, exactly 10 days from its launch, Apple enthusiasts are queuing outside Apple stores to get their hands on the device as soon as possible.
Some of them reached the place well ahead of the launch event to break the longest record ever of waiting outside the store, while some of them are real Apple enthusiasts looking forward to using the new device.

Tents are propped outside the Regent Street store and one of the campers, Zoltan Wiettchen, said that he does not ‘care about the phone at all’ but was waiting in line to sell the position and make a minimum of £1,000 for it. He also said that he wants the money to start his career as a personal trainer. It is not surprising as it happens after every launch and people wait outside stores and sell their positions to the highest bidder.
Another camper said he and his girlfriend were reserving the space and while she waits in line during the day, he camps at night and he would be off when a bidder makes an offer. There was also a tent manned by Task Rabbit, a company that supplies workers.
Task Rabbit representative said that she cannot disclose the amount the company was paid to wait outside the store, but the workers get $10 to $20 per hour for the job. iPhone 6 and its bigger variant iPhone 6+ are said to be available for purchase on Friday, September 19.
