Hyundai is all set to unveil its latest Genesis at Geneva Motor Show next week.
First seen at the Detroit Motor Show in January 2014, the car will arrive in UK and Europe this summer. The South Korean car maker started selling the Genesis in its homeland and the United States in November last year.
The four-wheel drive Hyundai Genesis outputs 311bhp power through its 3.8 liter V6 engine. The entire genesis models use an eight speed automatic gearbox. Company also offers the 450bhp 5.0 liter V8 engine.
The Genesis is of similar size as that of Audi A8 and new Mercedes S-Class. It is imaginatively call Fluidic sculpture 2.0.
The car packs a CO2 sensor, which will adjust the interior atmosphere by ventilating the cabin if the CO2 level reaches at 2000 ppm (parts per million) so the driver will not feel drowsy.
One thing that the executive buyers may find lacking in the car is the air suspension, but Hyundai claims that the ride on 18 or optional 19-inch wheels will match that of its rivals.
The Genesis will be sold directly from the head office instead of the sub dealers of UK and Europe. Customer will be personally delivered and demonstrated.
Hyundai targets to sell only 20 models per year, the brand targeting Korean diplomats and the existing Hyundai costumers who wishes to upgrade their cars with the full 5 years warranty.
