HTC has announced that HTC One owners can expect Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for their smartphones in about 3-5 weeks.
The official announcement about the estimation comes from none other than HTC UK. In a tweet today, HTC said that it is expecting “expecting to release #JellyBean 4.3 update in the UK in 3–5 weeks.” The tweet comes in response to a query by IvanSolyara who asked “when the European HTC One phones will be able to upgrade to the latest version of the operating system?”
The 3-5 weeks’ time frame puts the Android 4.3 release right in the middle of November just when everyone would be expecting a public release of Android 4.4 KitKat.
There have been reports that Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for HTC One would be bringing the Sense 5.5 rather than the Sense 5.0 UI, which was released with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update in the US.
HTC One owners have been complaining about red, purple or blue tints of their photographs – probably an issue with the HTC One Ultrapixel camera software and a fix is likely to accompany Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
