Smartphone maker HTC has announced it will be releasing limited edition versions of the HTC One M9 smartphone under the HTC INK brand.
The Taiwanese company has teamed up with the supermodel Jourdan Dunn, known for her work with the likes of Victoria’s Secret, Hilfiger, and DKNY, to offer to offer limited edition variants of the HTC One M9 with custom-designed, body art-inspired engravings.
Jourdan has collaborated with celebrity tattoo artist, Cally-Jo Apothecary, to come up with a new design. One of their first design has been shared already with a rather vague explanation.
“As she takes on more creative projects that express her individual style and personality, the hand and eye symbolise the need for protection and strength, combined with positive energy. The natural leaf-elements and patterns around the outside of each visual reflect her creative growth, whilst the sun and moon together indicate
balance and harmony in her character,” the design description reads.
It still remains unclear as where, when, or for how much HTC will offer these specially engraved One M9s.
To recap, the HTC One M9 is powered by Qualcomm’s new 810 Snapdragon processor and features 3GB 0f RAM and 32GB of built in storage and a microSD card slot which can take 128GB cards. The One M9 sports an all-metal design and curved aesthetics, a 20 megapixel rear camera and a 4 megapixel HTC Ultrapixel camera on the front. The device comes with Android 5.0 Lollipop.
