HP is likely working on 3D printing technology – something that is evident from a job ad it posted for Robotics Scientist for 3D printing.
More important than the job itself is the reference that the print giant is exploring hybrid 3D printing on glass and other inorganic strata. That is where it has spilled the beans about its plans for the future of its products.
Fallout of this is that it is now apparent that HP not only has the technology to go about printing 3D but also make it commercial in the future. Glass can never run out of supply; the fact is that silicate is abundant on earth and is easy to recycle and highly environment friendly.
In October, HP is likely to launch a 3D printer, though not much is known about it, there is indication that it may be aimed at the business segment. That is going to be a big a big push up for the ailing pioneer in printing. It is however; too far-fetched to believe it will be a glass printer which is still in the drawing boards of its laboratory.
