Best Buy has reportedly halted sales of HP Chromebook 11 for unknown reasons by asking staff to stop selling the budget friendly laptop.
According to a report on The Verge, Best Buy has sent out urgent instructions to its store managers to remove any existing stock of HP Chromebook 11. “Stores should stop selling the HP Chromebook 11 effective immediately,” reads the internal note reports The Verge. Best Buy has also delisted the Chromebook 11 from its website.
Amazon did have the listing of Chromebook 11 up until sometime ago, but by the time we published this story the link returns a page not found. The Verge notes that the listing noted that the Chromebook 11 wasn’t available directly “because customers have told us there may be something wrong with our inventory of the item, the way we are shipping it, or the way it’s described here.”
No reason for the removal of laptop has been provided by either of the retailers or Google or HP.
