GTA V has topped UK all format charts for the second week in a row with FIFA 14 and Skylanders Swap Force coming in second and third.
Just last week GTA V leapfrogged FIFA 14 to regain the no. 1 title in the Gfk Chart-Track charts, while Pokemon X and Pokemon Y debuted at third and fourth position respectively. FIFA 14’s ace position run was short lived as it couldn’t hold the sales momentum unlike GTA V.
Activision’s Skylanders Swap Force didn’t have an impressive debut and could only make it to the third position despite the fact that its first week sales weren’t as good as its predecessor Skylanders Giants, but were in fact short by 35 percent.
Sonic: Lost World on the Wii U turned out to be the biggest loser as it even couldn’t make it to the top 10 list. It had to settle for a number 11 position in the all formats chart. Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition is still going on strong at seventh position while Beyond: Two Souls for PS3 was down by one at sixth position.
Just Dance 2014 dropped to ninth position from seventh last week and Disney Infinity managed the tenth position this week.
