Google has rolled out its Calendar app for iPhone, months after it debuted an Android version.
The Google Calendar iPhone app has the same features as its Android counterpart. First and foremost on the feature list is Events from Gmail which automatically turn emails into Calendar events such as taking an email about a meeting and saving it into user’s calendar for the right time. Users will also have the option to disable the feature.
There’s also the Assists tool on board, which make suggestions to save the user’s time in creating events. Finally, the new Schedule View will make users’ calendar easier to scan by showing them everything saved in the calendar in a timeline view. The app even features Google’s Material Design look specifically for iOS.
Furthermore, Google Calendar for iPhone will work with all of the calendars that users have already set on their device, such as Exchange or iCloud.
Google Calendar (version 1.0.2) for iPhone is currently available for download in the App Store for devices running iOS 7.0 and higher versions.
