Successor to the 2013 Google Chromebook Pixel dubbed ‘Google Chromebook Pixel 2’ will go on sale in the UK on April 21.
Running web-based Chrome OS, the Chromebook Pixel 2 will be available in two variants – a £799 “base” model and a £999 higher-spec one.
The £799 base model features a 2.2GHz Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM, 32GB of storage, a 12.85 inch touchscreen with 25660 x 1700 resolutions, a full aluminium body, backlit keyboard and a glass trackpad.
The high-end model, on the other hand, contains a superior Intel Core i7 processor along with a 64GB internal storage and 8GB RAM. It also packs a wide-angle camera and a 12 hour battery life, which can get around 2 hours of life from just 15 minutes charge.
Furthermore, the Chromebook Pixel 2 includes dual 60W USB-C ports to allow users to connect two cables at once.
The Google Chromebook Pixel 2 will be available through the Google Play Store and Dixons retail stores beginning April 21.
