Microsoft has managed to find a strategy partner in GoDaddy for its Office 365 hosted email services for small businesses.
Microsoft, GoDaddy have been partners for years on email services based on Exchange Server and this collaboration goes a little further with Office 365-branded hosted e-mail services, which will be initially launched in US and Canada.
Users will have the option to choose from three different plans starting $3.99 to up to $12.49 per user. The plans are categorised as Personal, Business and Unlimited Business. Email address count starts as just 1 email address under Personal plan to 10 email addresses under Unlimited Business plan. Storage ranges from 1GB to Unlimited. You can find the details of the plans here.
Steven Aldrich, GoDaddy senior vice president of business applications at GoDaddy said, “Combining our small-business expertise together with Microsoft’s productivity offerings opens new doors for small businesses to easily get the tools they need to get more done in their day.”
According to Microsoft and GoDaddy those who opt for these services will get access to professional email connected to their domain names, cloud storage and a full suite of Microsoft productivity solutions.
Under the agreement, Microsoft created domain-based email and storage to cater to the needs of GoDaddy’s small business customers.
