There is one thing which just frustrates each and every Facebook user, yes, it’s the annoying app and game invites.
Every time a user opens the social networking site’s page, the first thing that pops up is nothing but dozens of Candy Crush invites. Sometimes users get so desperate that they even unfriend people who send them invites.
Well, for all those frustrated Facebook users, here’s some good news for you. Now you can easily block all such irritating requests and reminders with just a few clicks.
To do so, first open your Settings screen on the Facebook Web client and click on the “Blocking” tab on the left sidebar. Under the heading “Block App Invites,” type in the name or names of anyone on your friends list who bombards you with irritating requests. And there you go.
The same page can be used by users to block specific apps from contacting them entirely, and even prevent their friends from sending them event invitations.
Furthermore if you don’t want birthday reminders to pop up every day, you can even turn them off. In the Settings menu, click on the Notifications tab and then next to Birthdays, click the Edit button and click off.
