EE, one of the UK’s leading mobile operators, on Thursday announced that it has begun accepting orders for the Nokia Lumia 930 smartphone in retail store and online.
The mobile operator is also offering a special promotion scheme, which runs until July 31st to celebrate the Nokia Lumia launch.
For customers ordering the Nokia Lumia 930 before July 31, EE is offering the handset for free on a £29.99 per month, 24-month 4G plan – with 1000 mins, unlimited texts and 1GB of data per month. In addition, those purchasing the Lumia 930 on any plan before the deadline will also get a free wireless kit worth £130, which includes a free portable wireless charger, MD-12 wireless speaker and £20 Windows Phone Store voucher.
Sharon Meadows, director of devices at EE, said the Nokia Lumia 930 has been optimized with Microsoft’s most advanced operating system yet. She said that the handset has been engineered to be at its best to allow for fast document and video uploading when combined with superfast 4G.
Powered by a quad-core 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, the Nokia Lumia 930 features a 5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080p) OLED screen, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The device packs a 2420mAh non-removable battery, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage.
Unfortunately there’s no microSD slot to expand the onboard storage capacity further. The handset runs on the latest Windows Phone 8.1 operating system and will be integrated with Qi wireless charging facility.
EE is offering the handset at an attractive off-contract price of £349.99.
