EA’s action gaming title ‘Battlefield Hardline’ has succeeded in retaining No. 1 spot in the UK gaming charts for the consecutive third week ending April 4.
Even with a 40 per cent fall in week-on-week sales, the shooter continued to hold its position at the top of the charts. Grand Theft Auto V climbed to No.2 position owing to a 35 per cent increase in sales.
Meanwhile, Sony’s PS4-exclusive Bloodborne, which debuted at no.2 last week, dropped one place to No.3 after suffering a 55 per cent drop-off.
Easter sales promotions helped Far Cry 4 climb three places to fifth with a 116 per cent increase in sales, while FIFA 15’s sales went up 44 percent over the week prior pushing the title back up the charts to No.4 position.
Elsewhere, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare occupied sixth place in the chart, while HD remasters Borderlands: The Handsome Collection and Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin sat in seventh and eight positions. Rounding off the top ten were Dying light and Destiny at number 9 and 10 positions respectively.
