HTC has confirmed that its HTC One Mini smartphones across the UK will soon start receiving Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and HTC Sense 5.5 update.
The updates are slated for release starting today and will be rolled out as an over-the-air update in a combined package. The update brings all smartphones in the HTC One family series on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 5.5 UI.
The updated Sense UI brings with it improved BlinkFeed with Google+, Instagram and offline viewing mode. Thanks to the update, UltraPixel camera will now be able to lock focus and exposure when taking photos. Further, the number of Video Highlights has been doubled allowing more content to be seen at a glance.
The HTC Sense TV will now be available on HTC One Mini which will allow users to sort their channel listing to match the order on their TV or set-top box.
Android 4.3 Jelly Bean brings in new features such as Restricted Profiles, OpenGL ES 3.0 support and Bluetooth 4.0 LE.
