EA has confirmed its plans of bringing the Ignite Engine to PC with FIFA 15 ahead of the official unveil at the E3 2014.
Ignite Engine already made a debut on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in 2013 with the release of FIFA 14 and its appearance on PC is rather late, but back when news about the PC port of the engine first emerged, EA had revealed that it wanted more time to optimise the engine and ensure that it worked well with Windows platform.
One of the primary benefits of Ignite Engine, as touted by EA, is that the engine will allow developers to create games and make their features available across all platforms without any parity.
EA has teased FIFA 15 through a 10 seconds trailer and has promised a full trailer at the E3. The game will be released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. There is no indication that the game will be released for PS2 or any portable gaming console.
Further, there is no indication that the game will see light of the day for any of Nintendo’s consoles either.
