Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has been blessed with a sniper-only game mode dubbed One Shot wherein players will have nothing but MORS, a bolt-action railgun sniper, as weapon making each shot count.
Announcing the game mode Sledgehammer notes “One Shot is a brand new snipers-only game mode with decreased health and highly specific classes. Each of the five classes have been custom designed by our development team and OpTic NaDeSHoT, to test the true sniper skill of Advanced Warfare in this new custom mode.”
Soon after the game mode was release, exploits started cropping up wherein players were having an unfair advantage while using snipers. Quick-scoping, which was one of them, has already been banned by Sledgehammer.
However, soon after that players discovered that a technique dubbed ‘blackscoping’ will provide them a way of cheating during the gameplay such that the shots will always be fired in a straight line thereby avoiding sway and making the kill.
To do so players have to bring up the scope of the sniper rifle and fire immediately forcing the bullet to fly straight. This gives players with snipers the advantage of having the same accuracy as available in close-up combat weapons like shotguns and pistols.
There is no word on whether Sledgehammer will patch this exploit, but till then watch the video [embedded above] to see how this exploit works and if you can use it to your advantage.
