Activision has released a companion app for Call of Duty: Ghosts that will allow users to use the tablet as a second screen; keep in touch with their gaming while on the move and a lot more.
John Linden of Beachhead Studio is shown demoing the app through a trailer and explaining features such as Companion Features, Second Screen and Clan Wars.
Using the Companion Features of the app, one can keep tabs on their in-game statistics while also being able to browse through victories and shames on Call of Duty: Ghosts. Users will also play around with the looks of their in-game character using the Create A Soldier tool.
There is this Second Screen option that gives users the ability to change classes and loadouts pre-match. Further the option also gives users detailed information and the ability to add new players in the session to your friends list or clan.
The Clan section allows users to search, build through and organize their clans. Users will be able to create their own clan and if you are not part of any clan, you can find a new one if you have been thrown out of an existing one.
Last but not the least is the Clan Wars section wherein real life clans are involved. Users can match up against other clans and earn xp and points allowing them to take their clan to a higher ranking. This will in turn earn them bonuses in Ghosts including xp boosts, soldier customization options among others.

“app for Call of Duty: Ghosts that will allow users to use the tablet” – Except the app states not for use on tablets, I kid you not. Why do we have to have a slow app, why not use a website, not everyone has a smartphone and the developer clearly has a problem supporting every smart phone out there?
