The new Battlefield IP from Visceral – Battlefield Hardline – is to be released on October 21 for all major platforms including Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC after being in development for over two and a half years.
During the E3 Expo 2014, Visceral hinted at the origins of Battlefield Hardline which leads us to believe that the game may have been in development about a year before Dead Space 3 was released. The rest of the team may have joined the core team later on during the project.
Battlefield Hardline “puts players in the middle of the war on crime and allows fans to live out their fantasy of being a cop or a criminal”.
A teaser was already released about a week ago and now EA has announced that it will be opening a closed beta of Battlefield Hardline for PC and PS4 users. There are only a limited spots and if you are seriously interested in getting in the Beta programme, we recommend you hurry.
The game will be released on October 21 in North America and October 24 in Europe for all major gaming platforms except Nintendo’s Wii U.
