The Asus VivoTab Note 8 tablet, which was originally unveiled at CES 2014, last month, is finally on sale.
The 32 GB model of Windows 8.1 tablet appeared on Microsoft Store website with a price tag of $329. While the price of the 32 GB Asus tablet is slightly more than the $399 price announced at CES, the 64GB version of the VivoTab Note 8 is nowhere to be found yet.
The budget friendly tablet comes with an 8-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1,280 x 800 backed by 1.86 GHz Intel Atom Z3740 chip, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, and 8 hours of battery life on a single charge.
The tablet also features a microSD card slot for up to 64GB of additional storage, a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.2-megapixel camera on the front, integrated Intel HD graphics, a microUSB port, support for Miracast and more. Microsoft Office Home & Student 2013 comes pre-installed.
The tablet is extremely slim and light in weight, which makes it easy for the users to hold and carry it in just one hand. The tablet also comes with a Wacom digital stylus which offers pinpoint control and makes writing and drawing on the screen feel as natural as on paper.
