Apple has seemingly managed to cope up with iPhone 5S demands as it has reduced the shipping times of all iPhone 5S models to just 1-3 days for all those who order the handset through its online storefront.
The latest reduction in shipping times comes after there were reports that Apple has asked its supply chain to crank up the production and Foxconn was reportedly making half a million handsets daily through its 350,000 strong workforce.
The 1-3 days shipping estimate is not limited to just UK and US as MacRumors points out that the shipping times have been reduced on multiple Apple Online Stores across Europe and Asia as well.
Apple’s upstream supply chain attributed low supply of iPhone 5S handsets to the low yield of the TouchID fingerprint sensors. The initial supply of iPhone 5S stock was exhausted completely within hours of launch in multiple countries and shipping times were pushed back to as many as 10 days and the gold iPhone 5S shipments were pushed back to as far as October.
