Just a day after the launch of its latest flagship smartphones iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+, Apple has announced a price cut for the predecessors – all the models of iPhone 5S and 5C.
The SIM-free version of the iPhone 5C will be available for £319 which would be the lowest of the range. The next on the line is the iPhone 5S costing £459 for the 16GB version and £499 for the 32GB version. The iPhone 5S is available in silver, gold and space grey while the variant 5C is available in white, green blue, red and yellow.

iPhone 5S and 5C users will also be able to download iOS 8 when it is available generally later this year and pair it with the Apple Watch to take advantage of most of the new features. While iOS 8 supports NFC payments, users of older device versions, will not be able to use it as the required hardware is not integrated into the device.
iPhone 6 comes with a 4.7-inch screen and the iPhone 6+ sports a 5.5-inch screen offering 1,344 x 740 and 1,920 x 1,080 pixel resolutions respectively. The devices pack Apple A8 chips with 1GB RAM and storage capacity of up to 128GB depending on the model.
The next generation devices feature an 8-megapixel rear camera and also a front facing 1.2-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. Prices for the iPhone 6 start from £122 to £307 for the different specs.
