The Alcatel OneTouch Watch, which recently went up for pre-orders in the UK, will launch in the country in mid-June. The watch will be available to buy for £99.99 from Currys PC World stores nationwide and online.
The Alcatel OneTouch Watch comes with a 1.22 inch circular display that has a resolution of 240 x 204 pixels along with a 210mAh battery that Alcatel claims gives you five days of longevity and takes about an hour to charge. The watch weighs 60 grams.
The OneTouch Watch includes all of the standard smartwatch features, such as an accelerometer, gyro, altimeter, heart rate sensor, e-compass, NFC tag, Bluetooth 4.0 and vibration motor. The watch also allows users to track their sleep cycle, distance covered, steps taken and calories burned. When the smartwatch is connected to a smartphone, it sends users call notifications; social media updates and vibrates if users stray too far from their phones.
The OneTouch Watch is compatible with any phone running on Android 4.3 or above and on iOS 7 or above, it is also dust and water-resistant. It also comes with a USB connector integrated into its band.
The smart watch will be available in a sporty dark red/volcano black combination complete with brushed chrome, micro-textured resin bands and stainless steel.
