BioShock Infinite released last week stormed the UK video game sales charts to have the second biggest launch for a game all year. Selling 9,000 more copies than the original BioShock game which was released in 2010.
Unfortunately for BioShock it could not quite outdo the long awaited release of the rebranded Tomb Raider. Also new in the charts this week is Luigi’s Mansion 2 coming in just under Fifa 13, along with Army of Two coming in 6th and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 sitting in 8th on the fastest selling list. Still hanging in the list is Gears of War: Judgment all the way up in 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 in 7th, and lastly Assassin’s Creed III and Crysis 3 in 9th and 10th.
A fantastic result from the critically acclaimed title.
