It’s been a week since HTC launched its latest mobile phone HTC One M8 and the Taiwanese mobile phone maker has more devices to launch. Along with the other devices rumoured to be on the way, HTC One M8 Mini was spotted online while the details of the rest still remain under the radar.
A UK retailer is said to have confirmed that HTC One M8 Mini will be announced any time soon. It is expected to be available for sale in May; however, information about specific dates isn’t available.
While HTC One M8 came with a price tag of $200 with two years contract, information about the pricing for Mini is yet to be made available. The pricing, though unknown is likely to be lower than the original version, as it has always been in the history of smartphones.
There are some assumptions on the hardware specs of the HTC One M8 Mini. It is expected to come with an aluminum unibody, just like its predecessor HTC One M8. The Mini will also sport a 4.5-inch touch screen with a resolution of 1,080 X 720p.
The twin camera sensors that are seen at the rear of HTC One M8 will be replaced with a single camera. This is something that doesn’t go down well with us considering that the new twin camera sensor is a USP of the M8 and such a major design change in its very next device won’t be a smart more. Suggestive of its name, the Mini will be a sized-down version of the original HTC One M8.
HTC One M8 has been well received its mini version is also expected to garner the same response.
