Dixons is all set for sales of Google Chromecast starting March 19 through its retail stores, a new leak indicates.
According to a screenshot obtained by Android Police, ‘a new product’ from Google will be available from Dixon stores starting 9 AM Wednesday, March 19. An official announcement from Dixons is expected on March 17 as per the leaked screenshot.
There is no information about what this ‘new product’ from Google is, but it isn’t too farfetched to assume after a recent announcement from Google that it is nothing else other than Chromecast.
Earlier it was speculated that Chromecast could launch on March 1 through Currys, but that didn’t happen. It was also speculated that the streaming dongle will cost a lot higher in the UK – according to one rumour it is expected to sell for £59.99.
