Rolls-Royce has unveiled its most important model of Ghost yet dubbed Series II at Geneva Motor Show.
The Ghost Series II is important considering its relative low price and compactness as compared to the company’s Phantom model. Priced at £200,000 the Ghost Series II is a refresh to the previous Ghost.
Some of the external changes include upgraded suspension; LED headlight with a new shape; and new colors and wheel options. These upgrades can be availed through Rolls-Royce’s bespoke personalisation program.
When it comes to interiors some of the changes include modified cabin; more comfortable front and rear seats; and gauges with polished metal look.
The Ghost BMW iDrive-like rotary infotainment controller has been blessed with a new touch pad and a new 10.25-inch HD screen to display the updated infotainment and navigation interface.
Ghost Series II also packs updated struts and dampers; modified rear axle bearing for a luxurious ride and reduced vibration.
The cars is powered by standard Ghost series 6.6 litre V12 engine that produces 563 hp and 575 lb/ft of torque .The car has a new technology called the STD(Satellite Aided Transmission) which uses GPS signals to anticipate which gear the car should be in based on its location.
