Samsung has revealed that it will be launching its Galaxy S5 on April 11 in 150 countries, but has refrained from listing out the retail price; however, one of the online retailers in India is seemingly too enthusiastic about Samsun’s next flagship and has listed the Galaxy S5 for INR 45,500 that works out to be approximately £450.
The Galaxy S5 made its appearance on online retailer Saholic with the bold claim that the handset will be shipped on March 8, 2014 (at press time).
Clicking on Buy Now brings up a dialog box stating that the device is out of stock indicating that the page has been created as a place holder for the upcoming handset.
Recapping the specifications of the Galaxy S5, it is powered by 2.5GHz quad core processor, 2GB RAM, 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display, 16-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front one and a fingerprint sensor.
Some of the other features of the Galaxy S5 are 2G/3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, NFC, and Infrared connectivity options, GPS/AGPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and 2800 mAh battery.
