Kia has launched its Cee’d GT and Cee’d GT Tech in the UK and is available for purchase for £20,495 and £22,995 respectively.
The Cee’d GT is a 5-door reincarnation of 3-door Kia pro_cee’d GT hot hatch. The Cee’d GT is powered by a 1.6-litre Gdi turbocharged engine that outs 201bhp and peak torque of 265Nm of torque with capability of achieving 0-60mph in just 7.4 seconds.
With six speed manual transmission and fuel consumption of 7.0 liters every 100 km, the Cee’d GT can do a top speed of 143mph.
The car also packs standard equipment like the air conditioning, automatic lights, corner lights, Bluetooth phone connectivity with music streaming and voice recognition, and a six speaker radio/CD player with iPod connectivity.
Those wanting to splash a little more cash can opt for Kia Cee’d GT Tech as it comes with 7-inch touch screen controller for sat-nav and a reversing camera, rain-sensing front wipers, automatic air conditioning, lights in the exterior door handles, heated front seats and heated steering wheel for an additional £2,500.
