Skoda has unveiled two new chunky models in its Superb range of cars – Outdoor and Outdoor Plus that packs a four-wheel drive appealing to offroad enthusiasts.
Outdoor is based on the standard SE model, but Skoda has blessed the new car with new front and rear bumpers, wheel arch and side sill extensions, loading sill protection as well as side body mouldings.
The Superb Outdoor brings with 18-inch alloy wheels, tyre pressure monitor and black bumpers as standard.
Some features from the SE that haven’t been modified include rear parking sensors, air conditioning, a leather gear stick and electric door mirror.
Interested buyers will have the option of buying the Outdoor and Outdoor Plus models with either a 138bhp or 168bhp version of company’s 2.0-litre diesel engine for £26,995 and £29,235 respectively.
Those who are OK with spending an additional £1,000 will get leather upholstery, satnav and a DAB radio in their Outdoor Plus.
The 138bhp 2.0 liter TDI does 53mpg and emits 139g/km of CO2, while the less economical 168bhp 2.0 liter emits 149g/km of CO2 and does just 49mpg.

The Skoda Superb Estate was given the title of the best Estate Car in the 2012 Carbuyer Awards, and after a year later the Skoda Citigo and Skoda Octavia were named Best City Car and Best Family Car respectively.
