John Nack, Adobe Systems executive, has recently been hired by Google to help manage its photo editing tools.
Nack, who was the former principal product manager for Photoshop at Adobe, after working for more than 14 years on the job, confirmed his collaboration with Google on his blog post on Monday.
In a blog post Nack mentioned that he was proud of his contribution and impact at Adobe and of the legacy he had left behind. Moving forward, Nack said his association with Google has given him an opportunity to explore and work on projects which are very different and complementary to the one’s he had earlier performed at Adobe.
Google has been showing keen interest in the field of digital photo world over recent years and with the 2012 purchase of Nik Software and now with Nack on board, the search engine giant has the strongest digital photography team ever.
Nack’s blog, which served as an Adobe asset and was used by him to announce his move, will now be shut down.
