Back in November Microsoft confirmed that it plans to bring Games with Gold option to Xbox One and now it has been revealed that more details about the offering will be revealed “fairly soon”.
Through a tweet, Microsoft Game Studios corporate VP Phil Spencer revealed “Answer to this will be coming fairly soon” in a reply to a question which read “Phil when can we expect games with gold for xbx1? summer, fall?”
For those who are not aware about Games with Gold from Microsoft – it is an offering similar to that of Sony’s Instant Games Collection on PSN. Microsoft offers two free games per month to all its Xbox Live Gold members. The feature is only available to Xbox 360 owners, but Redmond has already confirmed that it will be bringing Games with Gold to Xbox One as well.
Microsoft is offering Dead Island on Games with Gold and this title will be replaced by Toy Soldiers: Cold War on February 16. Sony on the other hand has offered Resogun, Contrast and Don’t Starve to PS4 owners.
