HTC M8 aka HTC One is expected to feature a larger screen alongside twin rear-camera sensors, new reports claim.
Citing unnamed sources Bloomberg revealed that the new HTC One smartphone is expected to have a larger screen – at least 5-inch. The HTC M8 is expected to have a screen size that falls in between that of HTC One Max and original HTC One.
The report also claims that the new phone will have a slightly different design as compared to its predecessor. Further, the source also revealed that the HTC One 2 will have twin camera sensors on the rear for better focus, depth of field and image quality. The smartphone is also expected to feature an upgraded Ultrapixel camera.
Just yesterday alleged cases of the M8 were leaked online which showed an opening for the handsets fingerprint sensor. HTC One Max has a fingerprint sensor, so it makes perfect sense for the HTC One successor to have one.
The HTC One 2 is expected to have a 5-inch screen with 1,080 x 1,920p resolution, a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD slot, a 2900mAh battery and will run Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
