CyanogenMod team has announced the release of CyanogenMod 11.0 M2 – the custom ROM’s monthly snapshot and which is based on Android 4.4 KitKat.
Announcing the release Abhisek Devkota of CyanogenMod Inc. said that the M2 build have been lined up for over 65 devices and they come with bug fixes, and new features. “CM11 M2 has been queued up for over 65 devices and our bots are hard at work compiling. We’ve been working on bugs, device bringup, porting over features, and working on new features – all included in these builds”, announced Devkota.
Those who are new to the world of CyanogenMod, Monthly snapshots are those that are right in the middle of nightlies and release candidates. These monthly snapshots allow dare devil users to try their hands on new features earlier than those who play it safe by only going for release candidates or stable versions.
