Technology giants have a lot in store for the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2014 and they have been trying to keep things under wraps, but it seems LG hasn’t done enough as @evleaks managed to get hold of an alleged press render of LifeBand Touch fitness tracker and leaked it online.
The leak doesn’t come with any other details except for the photo, but from the looks of it LG has taken a page from Nike+ FuelBand when it comes to design and the overall build.
Just a few days back LG confirmed that it was working on wearable gadgets, but didn’t reveal the specifics of what it was working on. However, reports were already afloat in the Korean media that LG is working on not one but two wearable gadgets – G-Arch and G-Health. G-Arch was claimed to be a full-fledged smartwatch, while the G-Health will only be fitness tracker that will be pitched against the likes of Nike+ FuelBand.
Chances are that the LifeBand Touch could very well be LG’s attempt to bring back its Smart Activity Tracker, a prototype of which surfaced at CES 2013, but was never launched commercially.
LG announced Pocket Photo 2 mobile printer, which is already available in China and will be launched during CES 2014.
