Vodafone has announced the roll out of its broadband and phone services across the UK with connectivity options of up to 76Mbps in nearly 22 million premises across the UK.
With this announcement, the service which was only Vodafone customer-exclusive is now available to both existing and new customers across the UK. To sweeten the deal, the telecommunications operator is also adding a year’s worth of Netflix at no additional cost.
The mobile operator says that its service is fairly simple to setup and provides speed, reliability, unlimited data and brings with it cutting-edge features that will allow customers to share, stream and shop to their hearts’ content.
Customers have the option to chose from Superfast Fibre+ Broadband (up to 76 Mbps), Superfast Fibre Broadband (up to 38 Mbps) or Broadband ADSL (up to 17 Mbps). Those who are already on Vodafone will be given £5 off the standard broadband price every month for the duration of their agreement as a token of gratitude. Those have a Vodafone Red (pay monthly mobile) subscription will also get inclusive calls anytime to UK landlines, plus 300 free minutes to UK mobile numbers. Beyond this, all customers will get inclusive evening and weekend calls to UK landline numbers, plus discounted Sure Signal units to boost mobile coverage indoors if necessary.
Vodafone says that customers will have access to endless romance, sci-fi and comedy with even a special section for kids through Netflix. From Marvel’s Daredevil, House of Cards and Orange Is The New Black to The Adventures of Puss in Boots, there’s plenty of drama, adventure and giggles to go around for the whole family.
Another luring tactic that Vodafone is resorting is the hassle-free broadband providing switching. Once you decide to order Vodafone Broadband and have informed your provider as required, you won’t have to do anything as Vodafone switching experts will coordinate everything from there on: from transferring the service from the old provider; to setting up the connection with us and ensuring everything is working as it should be.
Some of the new features that Vodafone is offering including “Boost” that allows customers to supercharge any device connected to their home network, giving that device priority over others; “Beam”, which uses Beamforming technology, focuses Wi-Fi signal to compatible devices wherever they are in the home.
The ADSL connection that offers up to 17Mbps will cost you £10.00 a month on an 18 month contract, but if you are already a Vodafone mobile customer you will have to shell out just £5.00 a month. Other packages on offer are Fibre 38Mbps (£20.00 a month), Fibre 76Mbps (£25.00 a month). Customers will have to pay a line rental of £16.99 a month.
