Evad3rs member pod2g and one of the iOS 7 jailbreak creators is unhappy over the latest iOS 6.1.3/6.1.4/6.1.5 p0sixspwn jailbreak and has called it stupid for the fact that @winocm and @iH8sn0w could have possibly “burnt a highly valuable root exploit”.
iOS hacker iH8sn0w announced earlier that he has been able to make good progress and an untethered jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3/6.1.4/6.1.5 could be released as early as next week.
This didn’t go down well with pod2g as he tweeted that the duo could have possible put a highly valuable iOS root exploit in danger of being patched which could have otherwise helped them to jailbreak future versions of iOS.
Pod2g tweeted, “Nice! @winocm and @iH8sn0w burnt a highly valuable root exploit that would have worked for future iOS versions for a stupid 6.1.5 jailbreak.”
On this one of the other members of evad3rs team tweeted, “@pod2g @comex and they have two other invaluable exploits that could have been used instead :(“
It seems that the jailbreak community is going through a communication gap snafu – first between Jay Freeman (@saurik) and evad3rs and now possible between evad3rs, @winocm and @iH8sn0w.
