Amazon has launched PlayStation Network (PSN) store in the UK in beta mode, providing a welcome alternative to all those who are weary of entering their credit card details on Sony’s store.
Similar to the US PSN Store launched earlier this year, PSN Store UK will be selling a variety of PSN gaming titles, PSN credits, PS Plus subscriptions, DLC and season passes. The current inventory isn’t elaborate and only offers PS3 titles such as Tokyo Jungle, Journey and The Unfinished Swan. This is understandable though considering that the store is still in beta stage.
The pricing isn’t all that impressive as Amazon has priced its offering at more or less the same outlay as that on Sony’s PlayStation Store. However, with expansion and introduction of PS4 titles and more PS3 titles, chances are that the Amazon may offer some lucrative discounts.
