Everything Everywhere has announced a new member in its Harrier family of devices – an 8-inch Full HD 4G tablet – which it claims offers the best in class features and packs hardware that are normally available in tablets priced much higher than the price of its Harrier Tab.
The Harrier Tab is powered by a powerful Octa-core 1.5GHz 64Bit Qualcomm processor, features 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage expandable via a microSD card, Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, CAT 4 for EE’s Double Speed 4G network, 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and a large 4,650mAh battery among other features.
The tablet, EE says, will support real world download speeds of up to 60Mbps thanks to the CAT 4 technology and its Double Speed 4G network offering the ultimate in connectivity and performance. EE revealed that it has designed the tablet keeping in mind mobility and entertainment and because of that the tablet is easy to handle at home, at work, and even while motion on a bus.
EE is offering the Harrier Tab in a range of pay monthly price plans starting from £16 per month. If you opt for a £18 per month 24 month contract, you get the tablet for free and with it comes a massive 10GB of monthly data plus access to EE’s exclusive Double Speed 4G. For those looking for a pay as you go option, EE is offering the Harrier Tab for just £199.99. The communications company revealed that it has a range of other dedicated price plans for small and large businesses.
Sharon Meadows, Director of Devices, EE said: “Like its smaller siblings, we’ve made sure the Harrier Tab features an impressive spec at an easily affordable price point for consumers and businesses alike. When paired with our superfast 4G network, it really does offer one of the best tablet experiences on the market and is the ideal device for work, study or downtime.”
Consumers and businesses can buy the Harrier Tab from EE stores, EE telesales and via the EE online shop.
