Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has revealed on Twitter that it plans to make a big announcement on June 1.
The teaser posted on the company’s official Twitter account shows image of the OnePlus One, a part of which has been wiped off with an eraser, a drawing board with a pencil, paper and eraser. The image caption reads ‘Time to change’.
“We’re always looking for ways to shake up the tech industry. And we think it’s time for change. Find out more June 1,” the tweet reads.
It is expected that the announcement could be related to the company’s next flagship supposedly named as the OnePlus Two. Previously, OnePlus confirmed that OnePlus Two will be unveiled in the third quarter of 2015.
The teaser comes just a few days after the alleged device was spotted in benchmarks tests. As per the leaked benchmark test, the upcoming OnePlus Two will boast a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor; 3GB of RAM; full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display; 5-megapixel front camera, and Adreno 430 GPU. Also tipped is a 13-megapixel rear camera, 3300mAh battery; 4G LTE; GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB and OTG connectivity.
There are rumors that the upcoming handset will be priced approximately around $400, as compared to its predecessor which was priced $299 at launch.
