HTC has started rolling out Android 4.3 with Sense 5.5 for HTC One in the form of an over-the-air (OTA) update as promised earlier.
Announced over a tweet, HTC UK said “We started rolling out the Android 4.3 with Sense 5.5 for the #HTCOne in the UK. Settings > About > Software updates > Check Now!”
Android 4.3 brings with it quite a few new features and enhancements for the HTC One. HTC Sense 5.5 brings with it Google+, RSS and search support for BlinkFeed, and even allows users to completely turn it off. The gallery app has been redesigned and comes with new video highlight templates and options.
HTC started rolling out Android 4.3 update for the UK just after it did so for rest of the world including some parts of Europe. The official build version is 3.62.401.1; and 675.48MB in size. Some of the other new features include ability to add soundtracks to videos; access recommended news from social networks; additional global news sources; read later / offline option; and embedded music channel with new scenes.
