Amazon recently announced two new unlimited storage plans dubbed ‘Unlimited Photos Plan’ and ‘Unlimited Everything Plan’ for Amazon Cloud Drive to take on Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, and other cloud storage competitors.
Announcing the new plans, Josh Petersen, director of Amazon Cloud Drive, said “Most people have a lifetime of birthdays, vacations, holidays, and everyday moments stored across numerous devices. And, they don’t know how many gigabytes of storage they need to back all of them up.”
“With the two new plans we are introducing today, customers don’t need to worry about storage space — they now have an affordable, secure solution to store unlimited amounts of photos, videos, movies, music and files in one convenient place.”
The new “Unlimited Photos” plan allows users to store an infinite number of photos in Cloud Drive for $11.99 per year. This plan also includes 5 GB of additional storage for videos or other documents and files.
The “Unlimited Everything” cloud storage plan enables users to store an infinite number of new and existing photos, videos, files, documents, movies, and music in Cloud Drive for $59.99 per year.
Both plans will be offered on a three-month free trial after which the annual subscription fee will be levied. Users who already use Amazon Cloud Drive can change their plans by logging into their Cloud Drive accounts.
