Rockstar’s highly popular action gaming title ‘Grand Theft Auto 5’ has reclaimed its top position of the All Formats All Prices UK Video Game Chart, all thanks to the long-awaited roll-out of Online Heists which boosted its sales to an impressive 49 percent last week.
GTA V has topped the gaming chart for its eighth week in total, but it still needs to be at the top for another two weeks in order to match the GTA: Vice City’s record of being number one for ten weeks in 2002-2003.
Talking of the rest top five, Warner’s Dying Light slipped one place into second, owing to a 43 per cent drop in sales. FIFA 15 and Minecraft: Xbox Edition followed for the third and fourth positions respectively. Capcom’s DMC Definitive Edition made its chart debut at number five.
Last week’s second highest new entry was Sniper Elite 3: Ultimate Edition which debuted the charts at number ten.
