Warner Bros and Techland’s zombie action gaming title ‘Dying Light’ has retained its top stop in the GfK Chart-Track Top 40 for the week ending March 7.
It seems Dying Light’s delayed release has not affected the game’s sales at all. In fact, Dying Light has outperformed the other new IPs that launched this year, including The Order: 1886 and Evolve, despite launching digitally a month ago.
The Order dropped three places to No.7 position, with a 62 per cent sales decline, while Evolve fall to No.9 position with a 35 per cent dip in sales.
Grand Theft Auto V followed Dying Light for second place, up from fifth last week, owing to a ten per cent week-on-week sales drop. FIFA 15 and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare stood at third and fourth places respectively.
Meanwhile Dragon Ball: Xenoverse – which debuted in third place the previous week –dropped to fifth position with a 61 per cent drop in sales.
Rebellion’s Zombie Army Trilogy is only new entry for the week at No.8.
