Apple has released an update for its iOS 7 operating system, iOS 7.0.3, with a total of 7 fixes and 7 enhancements making the life of iPhone and iPad users a little easier and trouble free.
Some of the issues / bugs addresses in the iOS 7.0.3 include iMessage, accelerometer (sensor), lock screen bypass, VoiceOver input, and supervised device becoming un-supervised device related issues. Inability to send messages through iMessage has been one of the major pain areas for iOS 7 users and Apple seeks to address all of that through this update.
Parallax and 3D effects, the distinctive features of iOS 7, which have caused grief among its users with some even experiencing nausea, vertigo and frequent headaches, have also been addressed in iOS 7.0.3. Apple now provides enhancements to its Reduce Motion option which will further reduce motion as well as the 3D animations.
Some of the enhancements incorporated in iOS 7.0.3 are iCloud Keychain, improved password management in Safari, ability to search the web and Wikipedia right from the Spotlight search, and Bold Text settings.
It seems that Apple has also tried to address the blue screen of death issue faced by some iPhone 5S and iPhone 4 users as one of the release notes statement reads, “Improves system stability when using iWork apps.” The BSOD issue has been linked with iWork and this update may resolve it.
