Nokia World 2013 is just a day away, but it seems that someone in Nokia’s camp can’t hold their horses. Nokia’s store on Chinese website Tmall has inadvertently detailed the pricing of Lumia 1520 – $820 (4999 Yuan).
Nokia will be reportedly releasing the Lumia 1520 in Black, White, Yellow and Red colours and will have two models for each colour based on storage – 16GB and 32GB. It is also said that the smartphone’s code name is Bandit and it will support Qi wireless charging like its predecessor – Lumia 1020.
Some of the other rumoured but notable specifications of the Nokia Lumia 1520 smartphone include Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3GHz, 6-inch full HD 1080p display, 2 GB RAM, and 20.7-megapixel PureView rear camera.
If the device is indeed a 6-inch one, Nokia will be competing directly with the likes of HTC One Max and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and it would be the first Windows Phone 8 phablet.
Nokia is reportedly going to unveil a total of six new devices at its event tomorrow including its first Windows RT tablet Lumia 2520, which is rumoured to be equipped with a full HD display and a Kickstand.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Nokia has had a strong quarter of Lumia sales with over eight million units sold in the quarter ending September.
